ReplyDeleteTwo ways to beat the winter blues, 1) bake cookies, cakes, and other goodies and give them all away. Making them smile. And 2) getting a good book, a cup of hot chocolate and snuggle up on the sofa to relax. I think everyone has the winter blues with all this bloody cold weather.
ReplyDeleteI beat the winter blues by a) Reading a good book with a cup of hot chocolate with marshmallows on the couch with a warm cozy blanket! or b) Have a family night which consists of watching a movie in our pajamas, pop some popcorn and snuggle up on the couch with my hubby and kids!! Where I live winter is short, so I don't really get the blues.
ReplyDeleteWell if I didn't have to take care of livestock in the winter months I wouldn't get the blues because I love going snowmobiling, but I tend to bake/cook and set in front of the fire
